| Billy Hext Road runs south from the freeway to BL 20. Some of Odessa's nicest subdivisions sit out here, although the general landscape is fairly ugly. The land is almost perfectly flat with low scrub brushes, cactii, mesquite trees, and a lot of sand. Billy Hext was Odessa's mayor, and the city renamed Colorado Avenue after him in 2002. | Faudree Road is the second exit and the last in Odessa's city limits. The road runs south to the Odessa County Club, and to one of the most exclusive enclaves in town. Spur 588, as a numbered route, runs south along Faudree to BL 20. Photo taken 07/05/08. |

| SH 158 east and Loop 250 form the first exit in Midland and the last for SH 191. The loop runs around Midland to the west and north as a freeway, and continues as a surface street on the lesser-populated east side. Photo taken 07/05/08. |
| SH 191 enters Midland at the Loop 250 exit, with the sports complex just to the south side of the road. Much of Midland's suburban growth occurs here on the west side of the city, towards Odessa. | SH 191 heads under Loop 250 without a direct ramp connection to the other freeway. This interchange was rebuilt in 2004 when turn lanes were added and the pavement rehabilitated. The SH 191 was completed between the two cities in 1980. Photo taken 07/05/08. |
