Business Loop Interstate 15 South Pioneer Boulevard ties into the Exit 122 diamond interchange with Interstate 15 and Business Loop Interstate 15 & Nevada 144 (Sandhill Boulevard) from the north. Pioneer Boulevard constitutes a divided surface boulevard between the north end of town and the freeway. Pictured here is the southbound approach to junction Interstate 15. Photo taken 10/19/04. Business Loop Interstate 15 & Nevada 144 (Sandhill Boulevard) southbound at the west end of Hillside Drive. Hillside Drive carries old U.S. 91 eastward to the Arizona state line and Fairview Avenue. Photos taken 10/19/04 . Unfortunately there are no southbound Business Loop Interstate 15 reassurance shields posted on either Sandhill Boulevard or Mesquite Boulevard in town. Instead, NDOT opts to place Interstate 15 trailblazers such as this one posted on Mesquite Boulevard westbound after the turn from Sandhill Boulevard. Thistle Street spurs southward from Business Loop Interstate 15 & Nevada 144 to Hafen Lane through a tightly packed residential area. Photo taken 10/19/04. Junction Nevada 170 shield posted on Business Loop Interstate 15 & Nevada 144 (Mesquite Boulevard) southbound. Nevada 170 (Riverside Road) loops 11.975 miles southwest through the Virgin River Recreation Area to Exit 112 of Interstate 15. Photo taken 10/19/04. Nevada 144 emerges from obscurity at the eastern terminus of Nevada 170. Nevada 170 follows Riverside Road southwest three miles to the village of Bunkerville. Business Loop Interstate 15 continues another 0.75 miles back to Interstate 15 (Exit 120). Photo taken 10/19/04. Interstate 15 cuts a swath through Mesquite on the northeastern track to the Virgin River Gorge and St. George, Utah. Interstate 15 southbound reaches Las Vegas in 77 miles. Photo taken 10/19/04. Business Loop Interstate 15 North This lone Business Loop Interstate 15 shield is the only posted on the entire length of the 2.853-mile long routing through Mesquite. The marker lies east of the Nevada 144 (Mesquite Boulevard) intersection with Nevada 170 (Riverside Road). Photo taken 10/19/04. This set of neutered shields is located adjacent to the Nevada State Welcome Center along the Mesquite business loop (Nevada 144). Sandhill Boulevard passes by a shopping center, hotels, and gas stations ahead of the Exit 122 diamond interchange with Interstate 15. Photos taken 10/24/03. Business Loop Interstate 15 - Las Vegas At one time, there might have been a Business Loop I-15 in Las Vegas, but the exact route of this business loop is not clearly defined, and it seems like it has been decommissioned. According to a 1997 Compass map of the area, the business route followed part, if not all, of Las Vegas Boulevard (former Nevada 604); however, a field inspection reveals that no business loop shields are found anywhere along the Strip or in downtown.
