Former Nevada 166
This scene is found along former Nevada 166 in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This route was signed in June 1997, but it was relinquished from the state highway system by November 2000 because it is wholly located within the national recreation area and thus is maintained by the National Park Service. The highway is no longer maintained by NDOT. Photo taken 06/97.

Primm Boulevard east
Primm (formerly known as Stateline) is a growing community at the Nevada-California state line along Interstate 15. Primm Boulevard is the main east-west street that connects the casinos (Whiskey Pete's on the west side of Interstate 15 and Primm Valley and Buffalo Bill's on the east side of Interstate 15). Primm Valley meets Interstate 15 at Exit 1, a diamond interchange. All motorist services (gas, food, lodging) are available in Primm. Photo taken 02/21/10.
After passing under Interstate 15 Exit 1, eastbound Primm Boulevard meets the left turn onto Interstate 15 north to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Photo taken 02/21/10.
Eastbound Primm Boulevard meets South Las Vegas Boulevard at this traffic signal. On the north side of Primm Boulevard is Primm Valley resort, which includes the Desperado roller coaster visible from the street. Turn right for Buffalo Bill's, the factory outlet stores, and a shop that sells California Lottery tickets by being located on the California side of the state line. Despite the name, South Las Vegas Boulevard does not connect with the long extant section of Las Vegas Boulevard from Jean north to Las Vegas. Photo taken 02/21/10.
Primm Boulevard west
Westbound Primm Boulevard approaches Interstate 15. Turn right to follow Interstate 15 north to Las Vegas or continue straight under the freeway to follow Interstate 15 southwest to Barstow, Los Angeles, and Southern California. Photo taken 02/21/10.
