This services sign for Alabama Welcome Center was replaced by 2010 and now omits a right-hand arrow. 11/22/08.

Westbound Interstate 10 at the Exit 53 off-ramp to Baldwin County 64 (Wilcox Road). This sign was installed by 2005, replacing a sign previously in 2003. It too was replaced by 2009. 08/02/06.

This original button copy mileage sign remained in service west of Exit 53 until May 2010. It was replaced with a sign using Clearview font. 05/23/09.

Traveling to the County Road 68 overpass at milepost 49.5 along Interstate 10 west. A new interchange was constructed here between 2013 and June 2014 to coincide with completion of the Baldwin Beach Express south to Foley. 07/26/10.

Expansion of the Daphne and Spanish Fort city limits resulted in new guide signs for Exit 38 in 2005. Malbis was replaced with both cities on all Exit 38 guide signs for Interstate 10. 08/21/03.

One half mile ahead of Exit 38 to AL 181 on I-10 west. Note the tree line on the north side of the freeway. This scene is drastically different now due to the construction of the Eastern Shore Centre shopping complex to the northeast of the interchange. 08/21/03.

RSA Tower was still under construction as I-10 neared Exit 27 to U.S. 98 west for Government Street. Signs for Exit 27 were replaced by 2008. 07/06/06.

The replacement for the one-quarter mile sign of Exit 27 now incorrectly displays 1/2 mile. AARoads measured the actual distance with a car odometer to 2/10ths of a mile. 07/06/06.

A guide sign replaced this shield assembly outlining the partition of U.S. 98 west into the Bankhead Tunnel and U.S. 90 & 98 Truck west along Cochrane Causeway north to Prichard. The replacement acknowledged the change of U.S. 90 Truck into the U.S. 90 mainline made in 1999. 11/22/08.

This assembly was replaced to no longer show U.S. 90 & 98 west overlapping through the Bankhead Tunnel. 11/22/08.

An abandoned pedestrian bridge traveled overhead between James M. Seals, Jr. Community Center and Park and the Mobile County Metro Jail area. Opened in 1969, the span was slated for removal in the 2003 five year ALDOT STIP. It was finally demolished as part of the $14.68-million resurfacing project along I-10 between the west end of the Wallace Tunnel and Halls Mill Creek. That work ran between April 21, 2014 and July 2015.1 05/23/09.

Interstate 10 west reduced to four overall lanes west of Exit 17 with Alabama 193 until 2013. Three through lanes now travel through the upcoming cloverleaf interchange. 04/05/12.

The number three lane defaulted onto the Exit 17 collector distributor roadway for Alabama 193 (Range Line Road) until 2013. Now a fourth westbound auxiliary lane departs for Exit 17 from Exit 20. 04/05/12.

Three lanes now continue west along I-10 at the ramp departure (Exits 17B/A) for Alabama 193. Exit 17 remains with two lanes. 04/05/12.

I-10 west encircles the Tillman's Corner area through to Exit 15 with U.S. 90. Signs for Exit 15 used to display Historic Mobile Parkway, a designation not referenced along U.S. 90 itself. 04/05/12.

This set of slotted signs and sign bridge at Exit 15B were replaced with new assemblies during widening of I-10 during 2011-13. 04/20/12.

A ground level sign directed motorists onto Exit 15A for U.S. 90 west to Theodore. The overpasses for I-10 above U.S. 90 were replaced during the six-laning project. 06/09/10
