Archived albums cover photos taken during the early years of the site, or photos showing stretches of highway before widening or major reconstruction, or an old alignment.
All rounded edge based guide signs for Interstate 495 were replaced in the mid-2000s. The replacements more or less display the same information that their predecessors did. Photo taken 03/23/04.
The interchange sequence sign posted a half mile west of Exit 1 was replaced with a new sign giving separate 1 mile listings for Terminal Avenue and the Port of Wilmington. Riverfront attractions placards were added to Exit 2 signs in 2000 during the reconstruction project of Interstate 95 north of Wilmington. Delaware 9A ends at Delaware 9 just to the west, while also linking the Port of Wilmington with Downtown Wilmington via its leg along Christina Avenue to the north. Photo taken 03/20/04.

Interstate 495 splits into three different ramps at the southern terminus. The left lane links with I-295 north to the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
