Interstate 35 follows the Kansas Turnpike north from the Oklahoma state line to Emporia, and the U.S. 50 corridor east from Emporia to Kansas City.
Stretching 423 miles across the Sunflower State, Interstate 70 joins Kansas City with Topeka, Salina and Hays. The easternmost portion of I-70 includes a stretch along the tolled Kansas Turnpike.
