The initial sign for Exit 2 (U.S. 19/23 Business) was within the exchange for Amboy Road.08/23/03
A new sign bridge referencing the I-26 extension along I-240 in 2003 was added by 2007 at Exit 3A. 07/18/04
The former name of Resort Drive at Exit 3B was Holiday Inn Drive. 07/18/04
This was the first shield for Interstate 26 posted along I-240 followed the August 5, 2003 extension of I-26. 05/31/07
Spanning the French Broad River, I-26/240 approach their split at Downtown Asheville. Woodin was eventually added for Exit 4A. 07/16/05
The overhead for Exit 4A at the I-26/240 split was replaced by 2007 to display Interstate 26. 08/23/03
Crews replaced fluorescent light bulbs for signs posted at the parclo interchange (Exit 8) with U.S. 74A (Fairview Road). These light fixtures were eventually replaced. 05/31/07
A begin shield for Interstate 240 was previously posted along U.S. 74A west at the cloverleaf interchange with I-40. 07/14/15
