WGBH, a prominent public media outlet in Boston (TV, radio, etc) recently published a podcast series about the conception and creation of The Big Dig. It's less of a technical deep dive into the nuts and bolts, and more about the people and the politics behind it. The podcast is available anywhere you find podcasts, but if you like construction video, watch it on YouTube, as it features vintage video of the old Central Artery and the construction of the Big Dig.

Ahh. And here we in Houston are about to begin our own Big Dig
I love freeways and roads in any state but Texas will always be first in my heart
