All right, following in the footsteps of several other content producers on this forum, I figured it would probably make sense for me to create on ongoing thread for updates to East Coast Roads so you all can find them in one central place.  With the coronavirus limiting my ability to travel longer distances, I've been focusing on Long Island and other areas within a 50-mile radius or so of my home over the last couple of months.  My most recent batch of updates consists of pictures from April 11.  That day, I took an early-morning drive out to the end of the Long Island Expressway (I-495) in Riverhead to get some good westbound pictures without sun glare.  Later in the day, I went down to Massapequa for a hike and captured some higher-quality images of NY 107 northbound from there to Hicksville on the way home.

All right, time for a big one!  Here's pictures from a Hudson Valley day trip, my first proper day trip since the coronavirus.  Highlights include Sheridan Boulevard (NY 895) in the Bronx, the Bronx Parkway, the Sprain Parkway, the Bear Mountain Bridge (US 6/US 202), I-684 southbound, US 202 and NY 35 across Westchester County, and a batch of county routes in Rockland County.  Enjoy!

All right, time for a big one.  Here are the pictures from my day trip up to Connecticut back in the fall, one of the longer trips that I've taken since the coronavirus pandemic began.  Highlights include the previously missing section of the Yankee Expressway (I-84) eastbound between Danbury and Waterbury, the eastbound side of I-691, CT 66 between Meriden and Middletown, and the southbound side of the CT 9 expressway.  Enjoy!

Here are some pictures from a half-day trip in the Hudson Valley.  Highlights include Harriman State Park and the portion of NY 52 east of the Hudson River.  There are also some pictures of the Bronx and Taconic parkways in Westchester from a run up to Peekskill to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Up next is a day trip to New Jersey.  The main purpose of this trip was to cover the new Wittpenn Bridge (NJ 7).  Along the way, I also covered a few county routes, NJ 10 (one of the few major state routes in NJ that doesn't yet have a page on the site) I-280 east, two-way tolling on the Verrazano Bridge (I-278), the lane reduction at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and the completion of the new Kosciuszko Bridge (I-278).  Enjoy!

All right, time for a big one!  Next is a long day trip up into Connecticut and a little bit of Massachusetts.  The backbone of the trip was a loop heading north on US 7, east on MA 23, and then south on MA 8 and CT 8, clinching the latter.  Enjoy!

And here's another big one.  Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the Philadelphia National Road Meet last summer because I got sick with COVID-19.  However, I did a makeup trip a couple of weeks later once I was feeling better.  That trip covered a combination of selected portions of the meet, such as the Roosevelt Expressway (US 1), the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge (PA 73/NJ 73), and the I-295/NJ 42 interchange reconstruction, and other interesting roads in the area that were not on the meet, such as the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76), the US 202 expressway, and the Betsy Ross Bridge (NJ 90).  The site's coverage of the Philadelphia area is significantly more complete following this trip, and I hope that you'll all enjoy viewing it.

Up next is a day trip to New Haven, Connecticut from back in early September.  The highlight of this trip was the near-completion of the reconstruction of the Oak Street Connector (CT 34).  There are also updated and additional pictures of the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) and I-91.
