The Clippers were always one of Leno's go-to monologue punchlines back in the day.

If the Clippers goes to the finals and win the NBA championship, I wonder if that would bring a bigger impact than the Raptor first championship 2 years ago.

Btw, it's already 50 years ago then the Bucks won their first championship.
And that's the most recent remaining team's championship.

As well as the only team left that won a championship in its current city. The Hawks won in 1958, when they were based in St. Louis.

The team that the Bucks beat has since changed their city and name. Also, the Bucks lost game 1. The Hawks might actually do it...

Clippers forced game 6 last night thanks to a strong 41 point performance from Paul George.

Perish the thought, Giannis went down in the Bucks' loss that has the East finals tied at 2-2. As valuable as Trae Young is to the Hawks, the Greek Freak is even more so to the Bucks, and if they should lose tomorrow night, there's some serious trouble ahead.

Giannis has avoided an acl tear or any serious injury. Not sure when he will return though.

Suns with 20 point lead, in a great position to make it to the NBA finals.

And they're in, for the first time since the 1993 Charles Barkley/Kevin Johnson team made it.  This time, there is no Michael Jordan in the way of them winning their first NBA Championship.  The Suns are a better team than either the Bucs or the Hawks.

Congrats to Chris Paul as well, for his first NBA finals appearance after 16 years of heartbreak.

It's somewhat funny that the Diamondbacks won the World Series 20 years ago; here's hoping that fate smiles on the Suns the same way, especially given their 0-2 Finals record (lost in 1976 and again in 1993).

Trae Young and Giannis out for game 5. Adam Silver must be throwing a fit.

The long held myth that the NBA tries to fix the games so big market/big star teams advance to the NBA Finals.

After that game last night, with the way other players like Portis and Lopez stepped up, I'm much more confident in the Bucks taking the series, even if Giannis is still out. The Bucks just need to keep pounding the ball inside and stop jacking up threes. They haven't shot well from three all series and just need to dominate in the paint. And when Giannis does come back, I'd be fine if he never shot another three in his career. Just focus on making free throws, stop standing there for 10 seconds and thinking about it, and shoot the shot.

Pretty sure he doesn't care, he's about to have one of the more unique finals in the last 10 years

I’m looking forward to something different.  All these super teams, Lebron James type mega stars and dynasties have been a drag with the NBA since I can remember.   The best stuff usually is when you get Finals like this year when it is someone new at the table.  It would nice to see the Suns finally get a championship after being a consistently good team through most of their history (slightly biased as former Phoenix resident).
