This thread will highlight occasional updates to http://www.canhighways.com/, a project that I work on with fellow roadgeeks Scott Steeves, Cameron Bevers & Curtis Walker which feature virtual tours of highways from numerous locations.  Currently, the site primarily highlights highways from states and provinces in the Great Lakes Region, with coverage of locales such as California and Manitoba inclusive at this time.

Today marks the debut of the new I-75 Michigan galleries.  The Interstate's Michigan coverage now includes seven separate galleries, highlighting its trek from the Ohio State Line in the Toledo vicinity all the way up to the Ontario border at Sault Ste. Marie, and everything in between.  In addition to photos from Scott, Cameron and myself, additional contributions for the I-75 galleries come from Barry Camp and David Stilwell.  Of note are several photos from Cameron on Pages 6 and 7 highlighting I-75's trek across the Mighty Mac.  Check it out at http://www.canhighways.com/MI/I/75/ .

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this portion of the project!  There are many more galleries where that came from up on the site, covering locations from Manitoba to Ohio, from Illinois to Quebec, and many other places in between, and beyond.  Contributions are always welcome for any of the projects currently in progress as a part of CanHighways.com...and future projects, as well.  Check out the home page for more details.  Thanks, and enjoy the CanHighways.com Highway Virtual Tours!

Feel free to use any of mine if you want (this offer extends to other sites as well).  Mostly NY, but some Ontario as well.

I think we talked about this already but feel free to use any of my photos in case you ever expand your coverage into Virginia.

A number of updates have taken place on CanHighways.com over the course of the last couple of months.  Most notably, yesterday marked the debut of the New Jersey section (http://www.canhighways.com/NJ/), which will be maintained by New Jersey roads enthusiast Adam Moss.  In the New Jersey debut are four routes: two historic, NJ 158 & NJ 175, and two unsigned, NJ 163 & NJ 165.  We welcome Adam to the project, and thank him for his contributions to date.

A number of other updates have taken place, covering Manitoba, Quebec, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin.  Of note is the recent update for WIS 794 (http://www.canhighways.com/WI/WI/794/), one of the more scenic highways you'll see out there.  Check out this and much more out at http://www.canhighways.com/, and as always, contributions are always welcome for the CanHighways project.  Please see the website for further details.  Thanks, and enjoy!

The newest CanHighways.com update presents the debut of Wisconsin's I-794, a rarity when it comes to Interstates in that it is elevated for its entire length around downtown Milwaukee then down along the Lake Michigan shore, and across the Hoan Bridge.  Especially, check out the westbound photos that present some great scenes of the downtown Milwaukee skyline.

Also be sure to check out CanHighways.com for recent additions for Michigan, Ohio, Manitoba, Quebec and New Brunswick.  Between Scott Steeves, Curtis Walker & myself, we are in the process of updating the website every 1-3 days, so be sure to check back frequently for new content.  As always, new submissions are always welcome for the project.  (For those of you who have already posted in this thread, I've got your photos noted for future use. :sombrero:)

One of the newest updates for CanHighways.com highlights the new stretches of the Fort-to-Port Highway, US 24 in Ohio.  The highway is now four lanes from IN 101 northeast up to east of the eastern US 6 interchange by Napoleon, with Ohio featuring a standard aesthetical design for each of the new overpasses constructed along the highway that is reflective of the "Fort-to-Port" moniker.  Check out the U.S. Route 24 (Ohio) page to see the newest stretch of four-lane expressway in Ohio, and much more.
