I took a trip to Nova Scotia in September 2008, mostly around Yarmouth, but I also went to the Digby area.  I uploaded them to my Flickr account, and due to a terminal case of laziness, have not gotten around to putting (any) photos onto gribblenation.net.  Enjoy!

Do you know why the signs for Nova Scotia's trunk highways use the same shield as the US route system in the USA?

No idea why that is.  My guess is that the United States and Nova Scotia use a similar official shield, like how New York State uses its state shield in use for its road shields as well.

Some really good pics of Nova Scotia.

Looks like Nova Scotia is starting to use the Clearview font on its guide signage.  I noticed that some of the 100 series signage is faded pretty bad - they shoud really replace them.

The next time I go to Nova Scotia, I'd like to spend some time around Halifax, as well as explore other parts of the province (Cape Breton, the Annapolis Valley, etc.).  It's a wonderful place to visit, and it's a shame that Upstate New York (where I live) is so far away.
