2. I 205 (Oregon)
3. I 405 (Oregon)
They also can't be unsigned.
1. I-280/I-680 (CA) (tie)
3. I-880 (CA)
close 4th: I-5 (CA).
Hmmm... this will be a tricky one since I live in a county where one of them overlaps another interstate:
#1 (TIE)- Interstate 80/90 (Indiana Toll Road (ITR))
#3- Interstate 94
#4- either Interstate 196 or Interstate 65
1. I-15 (about 1/4 mile away)
2. I-90
3. I-115 (MT)
#2 would have been I-315 (MT) in Great Falls, except it's unsigned.
I 70, I 25, I 270
I-70, I-235, I-135, because going in a straight line east from my house, both are well west of I-35.
1. I-35 (about 10 miles west of here)
2. I-90 (in Minnesota about 40 miles straight north)
3. I-380 (at least 82 miles away in Waterloo. 82 miles is the official distance from Mason City to Waterloo according to the most recent Iowa map I have, but presumably, that's only to downtown Waterloo)
I-675
I-75
I-475
I-64, I-464, I-264
For 2di only, I-64, then I-95 is about 70 miles west, I-85 around 100 miles west.
I-75
I-696
I-94
If you wanted just 2-di's it's I-75, I-69 and I-96.
In order of increasing distance:
I-696
I-275
I-96
Closest to my home is I-66 (about 1.2 miles to the northwest as the crow flies).
Second closest is I-395 (about 2 miles to the southeast).
Third is I-695 in D.C. (about 5.3 miles to the east, slightly closer than I-495 to the west).
As the Bird Flies or Driving Distance:
Bird Flies: I-57, I-24, I-55
Driving Distance: I-57, I-24, Tie between I-55 and I-64
Mississippi River is in the way with no crossing immediately to my west, making the drive to I-55 longer

Of course they do. The question was "what are the three closest Interstates", not "what are the three closest roads that are designated as Interstates".
Closest: I-95 and I-495 are concurrent with each other, within two miles. If you don't count them as concurrent because the I-495 number is posted solely for motorist convenience, then I-95 is the closest and I-495 shows up less than a mile to the west.
I-395 is next-closest after that, within about another half-mile after I-495.
Then I-295 in Maryland (about nine miles by road).

Even I-676, which would be the 4th closest as the crow flies, is still within 4 miles.
So my 3 separate interstates still win over your combined single road.
The Rochester area only has 3 interstates besides the Thruway, if you can count that. So this is not going to be a very informative answer, because unless you're in Victor or Henrietta, this is what you get:
1. I-490
2. I-590
3. I-390

EDIT: He's been in Chicago since at least 2014. Look at his earliest posts.
I-77 to the east, I-81 to the north and west, and I-40 to the south. Though if US-421 between Salem Parkway and Wilkesboro ever gets an interstate designation, that would be the closest.
The only close interstate is I-10. It's about an hour to I-215 and I-15, which are probably physically but definitely psychologically closer than I-8. This would have been much easier a couple years ago when I lived <2 miles from the I-55, I-255, and I-270 interchange.
As implied under my shield, I live right outside the triangle of expressways in my region. A little quirk with I-80 running concurrently throughout all of Indiana, but otherwise...
I-65, I-90, and I-94 are all less than ten miles from where I live (and I'm talking about the access points; I can literally see the Toll Road from where I live, since it's only two miles north of me). I-80 runs together with the latter two.

Just get out a map, tie a pencil to one end of a string and a pin to the other. Easy concentric circle. Shorten or lengthen the string as needed.

He probably moved. The clinched Interstate list in his avatar indicates Tennessee, but he posted this recently in "Fun Facts About Your County:

Cook County, Illinois, has a greater population than the 97 smallest counties of the state combined. The remaining 4 counties in the state each share a border with Cook.
EDIT: He's been in Chicago since at least 2014. Look at his earliest posts.
I've moved around a bit over the past twenty or so years, including Arizona, California (hence the 101 shield), France, Illinois and Tennessee. Despite these travels, my mental home base, if you will, has always remained in Chicago, or at least the suburban part of it where I grew up. For the record, since my twenties, I have only actually lived in the Chicago area from late 2012 to mid 2016.
If I measured correctly:
I-81 is also very close.

1. I-43 (69 miles)
2. I-96 (74 miles)
3. I-75 (84 miles)
Driving distance:
1. I-96 (87 miles)
2. I-75 (106 miles)
3. I-296 (unsigned, 115 miles)
4. I-196 (118 miles)

Not counting the SS Badger/US 10 Lake Michigan Ferry in the Driving Distance to I-43, I take it?
If I were to count the Badger mileage, I-43 would be #2 in driving distance (just slightly farther than I-96). It's 348 miles without ferries
I-275, I-71, and I-75.
Next would be I-471. Next closest 2di, I-74.
As the crow flies and rounded to the nearest mile:
Tied for first are I-80 and I-90 on the Ohio Turnpike - 6 miles away
3rd place is I-280 - 38 miles away
Just missing the podium (or in 3rd place for 2di's only) is I-71 - 39 miles away.
I-17, I-10, and I-8.

As for me, back home in Chicagoland as the crow flies it would be:
I-294 - about 1.5 miles
I-94 - just under 3 miles
I-90 - about 8 miles
Once I-490 is built, it technically might be a tie for 3rd place for me, since the closest point on I-90 is almost exactly where the interchange is being built.
1: I-95
2: I-64

As stated upthread, the three closest to me in San Jose, in order, are 280, 880, and 680. That got me to thinking about my previous residences and Interstate proximity there as well. So here goes in reverse order:
Hesperia, CA: 15, 215, 10 (40 misses by about 6 miles)
Redlands, CA: 10, 215, 15
Anaheim Hills, CA: 5, 15, 405
Portland (SW), OR: 5, 84, 205
Napa, CA: 80, 680, 780
Roseville, CA: 80, 5, 505
That takes me back over 30 years; enough for these purposes.
I wonder if there's a triplet that has two "solutions" -- that is, two different parts of the country.
For example, Broken Bow, NE is closest to 80, 76, and 180.
If not for I-99, then Bellefonte, PA might be closest (crow flies) to 80, 180, and 76.

Okay, I found one. If you live in central or eastern Maine you are most likely closest to I-95, I-195, I-295, and I-395 (yes, four). If you live around here (https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7829269,-71.6631533,12.89z (https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7829269,-71.6631533,12.89z)) in Rhode Island, you are closest to I-95 and a different 195, different 295, and different 395. Not in different parts of the country, but three of the four Interstates are different.
Don't forget I-495 (although the Maine one is unsigned) (Sorry, didn't read OP). Also most, if not all, of Europe is closest to those four interstates .
Apparently about 50 miles from I-5, about 130 miles for I-205 and I-580.

Back at my previous home in the Kansas City area: I-35 (~1 mile), I-635 (~2 miles), then I-435 (~4 miles).
Now that I'm in South Carolina, I-26 is the closest at about 4 miles, followed by I-526 at about 5 miles, and then I-95 at 40 miles.
I have three within 5 miles of where I currently am...
I-294 ~2.5 miles
I-88 ~2.5 miles
I-290 ~3 miles
As a bonus I am JUST over 5 miles (~5.5 miles) to I-355.

When I lived on Long Island, the closest was I-495 (because Exits 64 and 65 were in my town), I-95 (across the Long Island Sound in Bridgeport, CT) and I-295 (Clearview Expressway in Queens). So the second and third closest were pretty far out of reach for me.
The three closest Interstates to me are I-69, I-24, and I think I-40 by a hair over I-57.
Here in Madison, there are only three Interstates that come into the area. Interstates 39/90/94 head northwest to Portage, Interstate 94 heads east to Milwaukee, and Interstates 39/90 head south through Janesville and Beloit en route to Rockford.

Though I live in Ontario, I'm right on the border to MI, so the closest interstates to where I live are I-94, I-69 and....I'm thinking I-696 in Detroit (or possibly 475 in Flint, I'm not sure which is closer to where I live, distance-wise.
Edit: Checking on Google Maps, I-696 is about 40km closer to me than I-475. I wasn't entirely sure as I've spent way more time in my life driving the 94 to Detroit than the 69 to Flint (only a handful of trips in total)
I-10 I live 5 miles from exit 70 FL
I-110 Pensacola, FL
I-165 Mobile, AL
:hmmm:
I-55, I-220 and I-20.
Mine are probably
I-295
I-95
I-276
I-10 (10 miles away), I-19 (29 km away), and I-17 (approx 113 miles away)
I-69, I-465, I-70
I am about 15 minutes driving time from either I-80 or I-39. Next nearest is I-55 at about 45 minutes.
I-435, I-35, and I-635 (with I-635 barely beating out I-49 and I-470 by like a mile or two). I think the maximum I have to travel to get to any other interstate in the KC area is 20 miles.

Right now, it's, I believe I-45, I-35, and I-10, but I'm not sure about I-69.
Using this handy little tool (https://www.mapdevelopers.com/draw-circle-tool.php), and the definition of I-69 as presented in the Wikipedia, these are the closest Interstates to where I live as the crow flies, in order from nearest to farthest.

I assume you're probably pretty close to I-16 given your location and other two addresses?

Sounds like the same set you'd have if you lived in Iowa City, Iowa, or thereabouts!
I think the default answers for me in Québec are I-87, I-89 and I-91.

The third interstates listed here are more than 50 miles away, so anywhere I've been is an auxiliary tied to a main Interstate, being nowhere near another interstate. Neat.

Starting from closest: I-71, I-275, I-75
If 2di only: I-71, I-75, I-74
From my college: I-65, I-74, I-865
From where I used to live in St Louis: I-70, I-270, I-64
From where I used to live in Columbus: I-270, I-71, I-70
For me it would be I-75, I-24, and I-59, all of which together have their own home in the BGS'ses (https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0074319,-85.2029809,3a,49.1y,269.17h,100.49t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sVnOh8tK_-9iuO0b5qo86vA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192) of the I-75/I-24 interchange. If I-124 (Chattanooga) were signed, it would likely beat out I-59 instead.
