The I-84/CT-72 interchange was widened about 7 years ago.  Currently, CT-72 EB just before the I-84 exits is 4-lanes. (2 going towards I-84 EB, 1 for I-84 WB and 1 for Exit 3 Washington Ave).  However, I remember 2 lanes going towards I-84 WB and there is a bridge on the ramp that is wide for two lanes. Plus the HUGE ramp gore!

Does anybody remember the old lane congifurations?  Was it striped as 5 lanes in that area on CT 72 EB?
I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!
