Sorry that I've been slow to reply the past few days. I just got my first apartment and I've been setting the place up and enjoying it. :)

I've received RSVPs from about a half dozen people. The idea was to pick the meetup site each day based on where most people were staying...unfortunately for me, it seems that everyone has decided to pick a different hotel to stay at, so I'm picking the meetup site to be Motel 6 at I-40 and Meridian. (Congrats, David!) Meetup time each day will be 11am.

I will be working Thursday night, so fellow OKC-area resident Eric Stuve will be hosting the Thursday night meet-and-greet. He will be selecting the venue and time.

Please note that I have not planned for lunch on Friday. I would advise eating a brunch-ish thing that day so as to avoid getting hungry during the ROADS! portion of the meet. Of course, if most of the people in the group desire so, we could always make an ad-hoc stopoff somewhere.  We will be having lunch at Coach's in Norman on Saturday, however.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me or post a reply here.

I'm not real familiar with the area. Is there a restaurant nearby we can meet at?

The Meet & Greet is currently scheduled to be at Cracker Barrel near I-40 & Meridian at 7:00 tomorrow (Thursday) night. If I need to schedule it later, please let me know ASAP.

Due to work, I will only be able to attend Thursday & Friday night activities, and anything after 3 pm on Saturday. I wish I could attend more of the meet, but I guess I have to make money so I can pay for my trip to New England next month.   :-D

I am looking forward to meeting everybody this weekend.

There appears to be a McDonald's just north of I-40 on Meridian.  Sounds like a good place to meet up on Friday morning.   The employees usually don't bother you there, especially if you buy a coke or something.  Anyone in favor?  Object?

I may not be able to make it to Cracker Barrel Thursday night. I have an ambitious day's worth of driving (and county collecting) to do Thursday, so I don't know if I will make it to OKC by 7 p.m. local time (which is 8 p.m. my time).

PING to everyone who attended. There was a fatal crash on the Turner in NE Oklahoma. I'm just wanting to make sure everyone made it home safely.

This accident happened on Friday; thankfully, all road meet attendees had made it to OKC by the time this accident occurred. A 10th person died yesterday from injuries sustained in the accident.

I saw the aftermath on my way home Saturday. There was still stuff scattered all over the shoulder (clothes, a busted-up styrofoam cooler, etc.) and black marks all over the place.
