That's one mighty fine looking bridge!

I saw these proposals to improve two local roads north of Moncton, Elmwood drive (NB-115) and McLaughlin drive (NB-490).

The proposed interchange of McLaughlin drive with TCH-2 is a good idea but what kind of interchange would they built (parclo A4, diamond with or without roundabouts, etc..)?

And the roundabout replacing a intersection at the Mapleton road interchange on TCH-2 is probably already opened but there's no recent pictures of it posted.

A $4 CA toll might be coming to the NB/NS border to pay for some major infrastructure projects in NB.

So much for freedom of travel... not surprised this is coming from New Brunswick.

It's already such a bottleneck. I assume it'll drive a few more people to the only other crossing there is on 970, which can handle somewhat more traffic but isn't exactly en route for most.

There's a shorter detour via Mt. Whatley. But it includes unpaved roads with a narrow bridge at the border, that might be easily closed to block the shunpikers. I don't see any other roads across the border between Mt. Whatley and 970, just a lot of wetlands.
