Would you extend it to ramps in a Stack or a y?

Woolworth Ave going over I-480 in Omaha NE is pretty inclined, so to Grover overpass a ways south.

Here is a fairly steep one in Virginia on Afton Mtn:

Probably not as steep as some of the previous nominations, but for Missouri, Mattis Road over I-55 (https://www.google.com/maps/@38.4950851,-90.3469036,3a,75y,33.56h,79.7t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s0lmTFptNnvZ-su-ehVn36Q!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en) might be a contender.

Not record breakingly steep, but the Fairview Rd. overpass over Hwy 75 south of Offutt AFB is remarkably and astonishingly unsleek and ponderous from the massive amount of concrete used to build it.

:wow:

Jacks Run Rd. over I-279 north of Pittsburgh is pretty damn steep.  The StreetView image doesn't really do it justice.  And right at the top it hooks back down again.  (I've crossed over 279 on that overpass many, many times.)

I don't know if this is considered a steep overpass, but the Oak Street bridge in Hinsdale, Illinois that goes over the BNSF rail line.

I once had to go to Hinsdale Hospital and I remember crossing the bridge and it's really weird because you go up on a steep incline and down on a steep decline.

Also this bridge is so narrow there's a stoplight that allows one side of traffic to cross the bridge at once.

"Steep" in the OP refers to the rise in elevation of an overpass, between one edge of the freeway and the other, not the steepness of the ramp leading up to the overpass.

A lot of the bridges along the I-215 east belt and in the 80/215/Foothill interchange in Salt Lake are fairly steep, but I think this one wins: https://goo.gl/maps/ZK4fmYTBPDJ2 . Even from the bridge itself, you get a sense of how steep it is: https://goo.gl/maps/TxSxtho9uTM2

That's 4500 South (or 4430 South, depending on what sign you read, but people will look at you funny if you use 4430).

You guys should look from the other direction. The steepness is far more obvious: http://bit.ly/2XLUC6S

Judging by the lack of a clearance sign for northbound traffic, that side of the bridge must be at least a foot-and-a-half higher than the other side (which is 15', 5").

It's not the steepest on this thread, but it's steep for that area.

I'm glad you mentioned a Long Island overpass. I used to think Hendrick Avenue over NY 107 in Glen Cove was steep, but perhaps I was wrong.

And in Westchester, Heatherdell Road over the Sprain Brook Parkway is both high and steep.
