I'd like to see AB 11 extended from AB 93 through Howse Pass into BC and connect with the TCH near Donald (north of Golden), and so would business interests out of Red Deer and Central Alberta. Unfortunately, the route requires going through Banff National Park and having the BC government construct a highway that would be high cost and low benefit to them, so it's more of a pipe dream at this stage. Saying that, David Thompson Country is closer to Edmonton than Jasper, so it might be a tourist boost to that area, especially with places like the national parks and Kananaskis becoming more crowded.
