According to AHTD maps, the business spurs of US 64 and AR 33 in Augusta are City US 64 and City AR 33.  I haven't been through there in 15 years, but I seem to remember them being signed as business routes.  How are they signed today?

EDIT: http://goo.gl/maps/QFLgW

Looks like they are signed as "B" routes.

Augusta today barely qualifies to have a US highway, much less one with business routes. But C routes were dispensed with at least 30 years ago.

C routes still exist, they are just signed as B routes.  If a section of highway has more than one business route, one of the routes will be named route xx, section yA or yB.  For example, the Patterson-McCrory section of US 64B is logged as US 64, section 14B.  The Augusta loop is logged as US 64, section 14C.  Plain old US 64 is logged as US 64, section 14.

It didn't originally: Augusta had AR 60 before US 64 was extended,

Searcy has US 67B, but is logged as 67C .

Bentonville used to have a City 71, later 71B mk I .

Arkansas has B Routes (Business), S Routes (Spur) and Y Routes (usually a spur-type route).

any CITY banners survive in Arkansas?

offhand, the only place where I know they exist is Janesville, WI.

there was a CITY 40/CITY 183 green sign in Hays, KS as recently as 2010, but I tried finding it in 2011 with no luck, so I bet it is gone.

Only a couple of those left. 23W is defunct, I think.  58E is the only other I can recall.

Note that in spite of what may be their best efforts, Google Maps does not totally display the Arkansas Highway System accurately. Especially when it comes to route signing. We have found several errors and are working with Google to provide ground truth information to help make their maps more accurate.

Seems like I'm always correcting Google. Sometimes, they fix the problem, sometimes they're clueless. :pan:
