Pat Metheny album cover from 1989.

Probably a re-issue. Pictured is a 9th-generation Toyota Corolla from 2002-2007, and a Suzuki Aerio from 2001 or so.
20th anniversary of the 1989 concert with Pat Metheny very likely given the cover.

I've been playing sonic frontiers on PlayStation 5 and one of the themes for some of the stages is "eternal Highway." Here's an image showing the Highway guide signs. You'll see interstate 25, US 55, and US 65 as well as one in the background that kinda looks like a state highway.
Of course the words and stuff are in a made up script but I found this detail kinda cool.
I love freeways and roads in any state but Texas will always be first in my heart

The state highway shield looks like NY 51.

Anyway I think it is funny that Sonic the Hedgehog recognizes US 85 more than the state of New Mexico.

From Civil War (2024).  Yep, this is supposed to be somewhere east of the George Washington Bridge (which somehow has survived despite the rest of the Interstate Highway System being disrupted due to the war):

I recorded an episode of "Emergency" on my cable box last night, and I noticed that the sign at the driveway to Rampart hospital was an old big blue sign with button copy.

No, I don't have an image of it.

ADOT released this video today which shows a bunch of AZ highways in movies:

Reacher S3 E2 has the title character driving south to New London, CT, to make a delivery. One plot point has him pulling over briefly at a rest stop just after a sign (no route numbers) indicating 17 miles to New London.

17 miles away is North Stonington, past CT 49, and there is a rest stop there. I-95 is never mentioned, but it's the only main highway at that point. It's shown as 4-lane undivided with a center turning lane.
My first SF/horror short story collection is available: "Young Man, Open Your Winter Eye"

Yes its very rare to see Vallejo get used in an album thumbnail. Its from Green Day and the sign is from CA-29 South from American Canyon to the Vallejo city limits.

American Canyon!
Get away from me-heeee!
American Canyon!
Napa, let me bee-heee!

Don't go driving 29
And cross Solano county line
Cuz next thing you're gonna know
You're driving into Val-le-jo

... I'll stop.

The multiplex of US Routes 26, 89, 189 and 191 south of Jackson, WY appears in the first episode on season two of The Last of Us.  US 89 and US 191 get mentioned in some detail in the episode as part of a patrol.

"In the Heat of the Night" television series is set in Sparta, Mississippi.  Other than the first season, Covington, Georgia played the role of Sparta in outdoor scenes.  Early in the second season, there was a scene showing Joann's car headed toward Jackson, with signs showing I-20 east and west, with Jackson to the east and Meridian to the west.  That seems strange, since Meridian is east of Jackson.

Yesterday Joann had to go to Jackson again.  (She had to inform a woman with disabilities caused by polio that her house was burned by an arsonist and her husband was killed.  It turned out the the wife had paid for the arson, but the guy didn't know he'd also be killing her husband.  She ended up running over the arsonist repeatedly, in Joann's car, before getting arrested.  That town is messed up.)  I think they used the same piece of film, but it was a longer cut, and it showed a sign for US 278.  I looked it up and found that it intersects I-20 just outside of Covington.  The interchange has the right layout.

The interchange has been improved.  In the late 80s the road had two lanes up to the split, and one lane went each way.  The split was a little farther down the road and right after was an intersecting ramp with traffic from I-20 westbound.

The signs for I-20 were the same as the ones there now, but the television crew put up a fake sign to make it look like Mississippi.  It showed Meridian to the right and Jackson to the left.  It didn't seem to bother anyone that those are the wrong directions.  Joann went to the left.  There was a stop sign facing the ramp with traffic from the right.  There was no traffic, but the road was presumably closed.

I'd like to buy a vowel, Alex.  What is E?

All roads lead away from Rome.
