Today I clinched MN 18 and MN 107.

According to TM this means I have now driven over 70% of the Minnesota state highway system.

It was a fruitful day for me in one of the more sparsely populated regions of Minnesota. Today I clinched/finished clinching MN 64, MN 89*, MN 92, MN 197, MN 219, MN 308, and MN 310*.

Haven't consciously tried to do this, with some exceptions.

I-95 - I am missing about 50 miles in South Carolina and about 250 miles in Florida. I'm not in any rush to do that, honestly.

US 6 in Pennsylvania - I did all of this in 1992 and the part in the middle (Potter and Tioga Counties) I have particularly fond memories of. I stopped at Grand Canyon of PA (Leonard Harrison State Park) around October 8 and took the best pictures I have ever taken, a particularly clear morning with fall foilage colors.

NY 97 is one I clinched a long time ago (1990s) but wouldn't mind reclinching indefinitely, as I very much enjoyed that road. It goes from Port Jervis to Hancock along the NY side of the Delaware River.

And along the same vein, although they are not clinches in the sense we mean here, I also very much enjoyed driving southbound on both NY 10 and NY 30 in the sections where they follow the two branches of the Delaware as baby rivers. (NY 10 west branch, and NY 30 east branch).

As I have seen in some other posts here, there are many places up that way, in both PA and NY, where I thought, I'd love to live here, but where would I work with an engineering degree? These thoughts occurred long before it was theoretically possible to work anywhere thanks to the Internet (although as some have pointed out, it still may not be possible to do it in those sections of NY state). Those questions are a moot point for me now.

Finished I-294 this weekend. It took a long time because I had little reason to drive it north of I-290 and even less reason to drive it north of I-90.

I want to say the only highway I've "clinched" is I-565.
Guess I might as well update my list of entire routes I've clenched:
I-565 (AL)
I-759 (AL)
I-440 (TN)
I-359 (AL)
Alt. US 72 (AL)
Business US 231 (AL)
AL 34
AL 35
AL 235
AL 255
AL 759
TN 121 (IIRC)
TN 122
FL 12
FL 30A

Did some thinking late last night, and I'm fairly certain this is now my full list:
I-16
I-165 (Alabama)
I-359
I-440 (Tennessee)
I-475 (Georgia)
I-565
I-580 (Nevada)
I-675 (Ohio)
I-759
I-840 (Tennessee)
I-985
Alt. US 72
Bus. US 231 (Alabama, Tennessee)
Bus. US 411
Truck US 411
AL 24
AL 34
AL 35
AL 40
AL 67
AL 93
AL 124
AL 139
AL 173
AL 191
AL 205
AL 208
AL 255
AL 257
AL 279
AL 759
FL 30A (Gulf County)
FL 73
GA 39 Spur
MS 76
NV 342
Truck TN 7
TN 122

Partial clinches of a highway, but a full clinch of it in that state:
I-20 (Georgia)
I-24 (Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky)
I-59 (Georgia)
I-65 (Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee)
I-71 (Kentucky)
I-77 (South Carolina)
I-81 (Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia)
I-90 (Idaho, Montana, Washington, Wyoming)
US 72 (Alabama, Mississippi)
US 280 (Alabama)

I finally got around to putting up some stuff in Travel Mapping:

https://travelmapping.net/user/?units=miles&u=pderocco&

I started with California, natch, and it says I've got over 90% of the state roads, 98% of the interstates, and 100% of the US routes. I've just submitted another update covering the Rocky Mountain states and west of that.

The funny thing is, the hardest state for me to do is Massachusetts, where I grew up and learned to drive, and lived for 47 years until 2000. I've got sketchy records, mostly just memories, of what roads I've driven, and so there are quite a few that I can't prove I've driven even though I probably have. Once I moved to the west, GPS logging became possible, so I now have very precise records of my more recent travels.

As of today I've run out of National Roads in my home region of Aragon. However I should note this is in general lines, not counting any upgrades, bypasses, etc. built after I passed but I haven't returned to yet (e.g. the Alcorisa bypass, I turned off N-211 short of it not knowing it had opened to traffic two days earlier).

Yesterday and today, my parents and I clinched Andalusian roads A-2227, A-2229, A-2230 and A-2231. I'm not counting the other roads that we only partially drove, but we did almost 60 miles in one single day.

Today I would have clinched Minnesota's portion of U.S. 12, but bridge construction prevented that feat. I did clinch SD 109 and SD 123, though.

The strangest clinch I have is A-740 in Québec City, which I've clinched thanks to bus routes 75 and 804.
That clinch got weirder, as some of it I did with bus route 75 I also did... on foot!
