The various DST threads.  :-D :bigass: :-D

Rev up those keyboards for 2021. :spin:

What about the end of DST in 2020? Even more potential fun/chaos–the clocks go back on November 1 and Election Day is November 3.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

Not US Holidays By Tiers
AARoads is on Wikipedia

Seriously though, I love all the threads about road oddities like weird concurrencies or Interstates/US Routes/State Routes that don't "fit in". I also enjoy reading about what roads/corridors people think should be upgraded (as long as the proposal is realistic and original - no FritzOwl nonsense or fictional North Carolina interstates for the 10 millionth time). I also like threads about control cities. Control cities, especially the far-off ones, have always fascinated me.

As for least favorite threads, I hate hearing people whine about the Patriots in the NFL threads. It's nonstop. Gets really old, and I'm not even a Pats fan.

Not US Holidays By Tiers

Yeah, that was a spinoff of US Holidays By Tiers that got so extended that it had to be separated and "renamed" by the mods.

All the various 1-2-3 highway sign threads; lots of fun!
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

CNGL-Leudimin

For threads that are open right now...
- Minor things that bother you. I thought it would be locked quickly, but surprisingly it goes well, and never gets old.
- Funniest Street names. Again, it never gets old.
- Compilation: FritzOwl in one thread. I really enjoy your guys bashing FritzOwl over his crazy plans of turning every alley and trail into an Interstate.

However, my all-time favorite is "What is highest classification of road beside which you have urinated?" :bigass:.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

I can think of a few.

Best of Road Pictures  -  most of the photography there is awesome.  Makes me want to visit some of those areas.
The Guess That Bridge Thread  -  I also have an interest in bridges specifically, and again, lots of good photography.  I'm hoping it doesn't die off.

I also have a soft spot for:
FritzOwl in One Thread  -  Just to sit back and watch people get bent out of shape over some of his plans.  I suspect Ol' Fritz is just trolling us and is amused by our responses.  (I will admit to a few posts, mostly asking legitimate questions that I know he will dodge and just say that it fits his plans)

And some silly ones like CNGL-Leudimin mentioned like What is highest classification of road beside which you have urinated?   (Interstate for me!)

I don't think he's really been around the last month or so.

He was last active on March 31.  I remember a post from him that day that "seemed to jump the shark" - even for him - and it was removed next time I looked.  So ... who knows?  *shrug*

He's banned. (link won't work forever, but it will be good for at least a few weeks)
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.
