Seacrest has now succeeded Dick Clark, Regis Philbin and Pat Sajack.
And Casey Kasem, right?  Didn't he also host American Top 40 at some point?

I don't think he succeeded Kasem, though. I think there was someone in between.

I don't think he succeeded Kasem, though. I think there was someone in between.

Seacrest has hosted since Kasem retired in 2004. There was an intermediate period in the early 90s where Shadoe Stevens hosted due to contract disputes before the show went on hiatus in 1995, but Kasem returned in 1998.
