Didn't we have a thread a year or so back where US Routes and Interstates were having affairs or something?

I like the murderer part. Could come up with something about sibling rivalry between I-70 and I-80 because their dad, US 40, greatly favors one child over the other (we all know which one it is), and the other wants to get rid of US 40.

Somewhere in Indiana, US 6 and US 30 conceived twin I-84's and twin dwarf I-86's.  Sadly, they split up;  US 6 took one of each of the twins east, and US 30 took the other twins west.  A few years later, the two twins who headed east with US 6 had quite the spat. US 6 always seemed to favor I-84, and took I-84 with it toward Providence, and gave I-86 up for adoption to CT 15.  Peace prevailed for the better part of 15 years, until the cancel culture forces at CTDOT and RIDOT plotted to strip I-84 of its identity.  Meanwhile, I-86 was really struggling to exist, having been rejected in many places, plus losing its foster parent and having US 6 gain partial custody of its step-sibling US 44.  Not being able to stand the pain, I-86 ran off into the woods.  To protect I-84, US 6 let I-84 return to its original route.  We wouldn't hear from I-86 for a while, until about 15 years later, when I-86 came out of hiding, and was found to have joined forces with a lower class route from the other side of the tracks: NY 17.  However, I-86 had an ulterior motive: to take over NY 17 and turn NY 17 into a dwarf.  For almost 25 years, I-86 has struggled to do so, and still struggles to gain recognition, as most still refer to the lower class partner (although I-86 has succeeded in being recognized over about half of the route).  To this day, I-86's wish to be recognized as a full fledged interstate has yet to be fulfilled.  As for US 30 and the western siblings, things have been quite peaceful, with I-84 having found stability between Portland and Salt Lake, and dwarf I-86 living with its parent in the in-law apartment east of Pocatello after I-84 amicably allowed.
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

Speaking of US 6 and US 30, I find it interesting how Western I-76 and Eastern I-84 are with US 6, while Eastern I-76 and Western I-84 are with US 30.

Better than I-80 murdering his dad US 40 just down south, which REALLY ticked his younger brother I-70 off  :D
I-5 had daddy issues and took it to the extreme. I-40, 44 and 55's dad was famous but died early too. This was I-44's only parent, while I-40 and I-55 had moms of US 70 and US 61 respectively.

Speaking of I-70, he also hates his little brother I-68 for starting a competing business to his and his cousin I-76's business, the well-known Pennsylvania Turnpike.
