Freeway interchange under construction on US-59 (I-69) north of Humble

I visited with family in the northern suburbs of Houston last week.  On the way, I saw what appears to be a freeway-to-freeway interchange being built north of Humble, south of Cleveland.  What road will intersect there?  I didn't see anything proposed or under-construction on my official Texas map (it might be too old).  Will this connect to I-45?

Is it in Kingwood or Porter (thereabouts??)? .... It would have to be the I-69/US 59 interchange connection to the TX 99-Grand Pkwy. toll road extension.  It is part of the next-3-phases-at-once phase (since the I-10 to US 290 part got done and opened) that stretches from where you were all the way over to US 290.

Wow are there any maps showing that proposed route? I wonder where the Grand will go east of I-69/US 59 because Kingwood area is pretty dense through there plus the river crossing and Lake Houston Wilderness area.

Yeah, that's it.  What I saw was the far east end of Segment G.

Presumably, future segments will connect with I-10 east of Houston?

As I looked at the southern portion of the map, I realized that the extension of Fort Bend Tollway would make perfect sense now before the area became too built up.  Any idea if that is in the plans?
When you come to a fork in the road... TAKE IT.

Sure is! See "Extension South & West of Sienna Parkway" in link below:

And there is a mention of it at the bottom of this article:
