Yeah, let's see if the Stanley Cup will return in Canada after 30 years.
Actually, it's been 31 years now, with the 1993 Montreal Canadiens being the last of their kind to win the Cup. That was a banner year for sports in Canada, as the Toronto Blue Jays repeated as World Series champions in October.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

If the NY Islanders beat the Carolina Hurricanes, they could be a good candidate for the title of the Cinderella team this year.

I guess we can forget the Islanders being the Cinderella team, the Washington Capitals are also eleminated by the NY Rangers.

For those of you following the PWHL:

There is one game left by each team. Toronto already has the 1 seed, Montréal already has the 2 seed, and New York is already eliminated and guaranteed first draft pick. This leaves three teams, two of which advance to the playoffs: Minnesota, Ottawa, and Boston. None of them are playing each other in the final regular season games.

Boston makes the playoffs if at least one of the following is true:

1. Ottawa gets fewer points than Boston. Ottawa advances if it they're equal. The league gives 3 for a regulation win, 2 for an overtime win, 1 for an overtime loss, and 0 for a regulation loss.

2. Boston wins in regulation and Minnesota loses in regulation.

If both of these happen, Ottawa gets in over Minnesota.

Not going to lie. I was unaware there was a PWHL.

The Boston Bruins once again find themselves in a position where, in spite of great talent and superb regular season record, they could blow another 3-1 lead.
