Fading signs in Virginia
« on: October 16, 2009, 01:48:24 AM »

I don't know if anybody is aware of this, but the last time I saw this sign:
https://www.aaroads.com/mid-atlantic/virginia095/i-095_nb_exit_064_00.jpg
It was practically white.

Just thought I'd give the rest of you a heads-up.

A lot of Virginia's brown signs are badly faded. So, too, are quite a few of Kentucky's, especially on I-65 and I-75. Must be something in the brown color on the reflective sheeting.
