^ I believe he's also gone on record to include pizza and Steely Dan as worthwhile contributions. Though based on Clarkson's attitude, I'm not sure he was talking about the artist.

He's channeling Annie Hall, when Woody Allen calls the right-on-red L.A.'s only cultural contribution.

I don't see the problem.

The TPike was supposed to continue, however ODOT didn't do it, and didn't buy row to do it, and now when we really want it, we can't.

Ooooh... I thought you were complaining about the I-40 shield being rounded at the bottom instead of pointy.
I was thinking that was a map of Columbus Ohio and they reversed the I 270 and US 40 shields

Correct.

Really only allowed in North America, a few states in Australia (left on red), and at like ten intersections in Germany. I'm not aware of any other countries that allow movements on red.

In most countries, slip lanes are usually provided in lieu of permitting turns on red.

I feel like this format has lots of roadgeek potential...

It should be a 2-digit shield, so that it's actually square. Make sure it's still a square number; my suggestion is ME 25.

The updated one is stronger and more clear -- gets the point across in 2 ways. As radio guys might say: we read you 5 by 5.

That is really funny (and very true).

It is also really neat how, in the picture, the emoji looks like it fits perfectly inside the traffic signal right there - not to mention it is also the same color as the actual yellow light.
Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

I instantly laughed when I saw it, and whoever made it did a pretty good job (I found it on Facebook, on Worldstar's page of all places lmao).

It's really a challenge when you're in a different region or city and you're not sure just how long the yellow phase lasts.
