How is there not a White Castle in White Castle?

Boring answer is White Castle doesn't exist in the south/southwest.  Out in Texas, the White Castle market is covered by a joint called Krystal's.

I don't think I've ever seen a Krystal's in Texas. The furthest west I think I've seen one was Mississippi.

Not sure if they are still there, but there was one on I-410 in San Antonio just north of Culebra, and there was one in Killeen.  I don't remember where exactly.  When I say there was one, I mean I saw them within the past 10 years.  Now, Austin used to have a few Krystals, but that was like 30-35 years ago.

Our friends in Mexico drove to Torreón yesterday to buy some lumber, and I was following their GPS track out of curiosity.  Along the way, I found this GSV imagery.  Is this a common sight at gas stations near you??

I guess I'm confused. Even if they did stop at that gas station, the Street View is over six years old.

I only vaguely remember the OP shot as it was originally.  What I remember is not apparent in any of the "fixed" links.  It was all whacked-out imagery, which has apparently since been removed or replaced with something else.
