EDIT:  See below (reply #15) for a broadening of the topic.

I know this topic will be specific to those that use Travel Mapping, but was just curious if others had routes that they were the only "clincher" listed.  I have lots of international routes on that site where I'm the only one, so I figured it'd be easier/more interesting if we just used our home states.

According to Travel Mapping, I am the only one who has clinched:
  • Dinosaur Park Road
  • CO7
  • CO9
  • CO14
  • CO39
  • CO42
  • CO52
  • CO59
  • CO63
  • CO71
  • CO79
  • CO97
  • CO136
  • CO141
  • CO144
  • CO167
  • CO317
  • CO392

I think I'm the most surprised by CO141 (it's such a pretty road and a lot of the other remote western Colorado highways have been clinched by a lot of different people) and CO7 (it's close enough to Denver and heads to some widely visited towns/tourist areas).  The ones I'm least surprised by are either CO59 or CO71 as those are some long ass highways through a whole lot of nothing.

None anymore, because someone else finished a 100% clinch of Minnesota (I'm at about 75%). But there are a couple other roads in other states I found that Iím the only one who has clinched so far.

For a while I was the sole clincher of:
MN 1
MN 6
MN 23
MN 172 (for a time I was also the only one who had been on this road, period)

I don't use Travel Mapping, but I would imagine I'm the only roadgeek who has clinched a number of roads in Kentucky. I can think of several in my home county that I doubt anyone else has clinched.

None for me. Two other people are already 100% complete with Indiana (though neither is from Indiana and I question whether they've actually done the new routings of US 33 and IN 912) and even the 4-digit routes in KY I clinched have at least 2 others.

I imagine I'd have to go pretty far from home to find a yet-unclinched route.

mapcat has over 75% of Kentucky clinched, but you may still have a few.

I am still the only one that has clinched PA 73 ALT TRUCK (Schwenksville).   :-D

Not on Travel Mapping, but I'm probably the only person on the forum that has clinched my street, as well as many other streets in my town. Have any of you ever been to Needham (besides I-95/128)?

I am currently the only full clincher of:

NC 33, 42, 43, 50, 55, 111, 906
SC 4, 6, 27, 33, 41, 45, 51, 64, 88, 99, 135, 137, 154*, 165, 207, 210, 212*, 213, 260*, 261, 267, 283, 311*, 341, 362, 363, 400*, 414, 421, 453, 512, 541*, 641, 692, 912*, 917

* - only driver at all

I'm probably the only clincher of a couple Virginia Facility routes that are not on TM - VA 315 (state house driveway closed since 9/11) for instance.

One person has clinched all of Illinois, and another person is one route short of a full clinch.  At least I take 4th place in terms of number of routes clinched, and 3rd place in terms of raw mileage.  Thanks, covid! (I elected not to travel outside of Illinois until I was fully vaccinated.)

None in Virginia.

Iím the only person to have clinched Nova Scotia Route 255 on Cape Breton Island and the only person shown as having clinched the portion of NS-4 on Cape Breton Island, although I wouldnít view the latter as clinching the full route.

Iím the only person who has either clinched or travelled on the A1140 in Scotland; while itís not a clinch, Iím also the only person whoís been on the B1347 and the B9131 (missing a clinch by less than a mile on the latter, but I wasnít thinking about clinches that day). Iím also the only person to have either clinched or travelled on the A4259 and the B390 in England.

I believe there are some other roads in Europe that arenít clinches that nobody else has travelled, but I donít have time to check all that right now since the missus just said dinner is ready.

In my state, none.

I did find a few roads in Iceland that I am (according to TravelMapping) the only clincher:  38 and 95

95 surprised me a bit as it is a former routing of the "Ring Road".

I poked around at a few domestic areas but didn't see any.  And I didn't see any option to generate a nice neat sortable table.
So my answer for US roads is "don't know for sure, but probably none".

Not in my state, but in Fujian Province in China, I have the original section of G1505 (called CHN-FJ G1501 on Travel Mapping) clinched, as it shows a 0%, and I don't use Travel Mapping. Due to the extension of G1505 into a full 4th beltway around Fuzhou (and Travel Mapping haven't updated that yet either), I'm missing all of the new section, which is like 2/3 of the route, so I actually don't have the route clinched, only the original section shown on Travel Mapping.

So here's a related question: Are there any routes in the continental US that are listed in Travel Mapping but haven't been clinched by anybody?  I'm pretty sure there are none in IN, IL, MI, or OH.

I'll slightly change the subject name and then we can involve everyone.  I guess I didn't think this through that much to realize that you East Coasters wouldn't have any unclinched routes.  There are still a lot out west that no one has logged.  (CO172, CO184, and CO348 still have no clinchers at all.)

New question: which route have you clinched that has the least amount of other clinchers?  Because I have OCD, I'll go state by state.  The number in the far right column it total people with it logged as clinched, so if it's a '1', I'm the only one so far.

Lone clinches:

In my own state, I'm the only clincher of GA81, GA138, GA155, GA162, and GA162Con (Porterdale). Elsewhere, I also hold the solo title on PR24.

Other states with a lower number than listed in the table already:

Alabama: AL165, AL169 (2 total clinchers each)
Florida: FL907 (8)
Hawaii: HI8930 (3)
Maryland: MD117, MD124 (10 each)
North Carolina: NC60 (14)

I was just doing it for me specifically rather than getting a table finding the lowest amount of clinchers per segment per state.  I was just kind of curious what my "most remote" routes were in each state.

Maine has some.

I couldn't remember if I had driven SC 413 so when I checked TM it showed that nobody has driven any of it.

Just checked the only SC state route I've never even crossed and it too has not been driven by anyone (SC 193).

Wouldn't be surprised if there are a few more among the 42 SC routes I have not driven any of...

I'm pretty sure I'm the sole clincher on this board of FM 1495 and FM 523 (btw, why aren't FM routes on TM?). Looking at TM overall, I see that TX-35 hasn't been clinched yet. I have everything north of Bay City, and I might go down to Corpus Christi this summer, clinching it along the way.

https://courses.teresco.org/metal/hdx/

Graph format should be "traveled", despite a different option saying "most likely you want this".

Before you choose the region you want, first choose any region with a small number of points (like the first one by default, Afghanistan), turn off "show markers", and then choose the one you want. Otherwise, it's going to take a really long time to load a large set.
