Nice to see this first step done, I look forward to driving across it.
Going to be a lot of construction going on in the whole innerbelt area over the next two decades, according to the current plan: http://www.dot.state.oh.us/projects/ClevelandUrbanCoreProjects/Innerbelt/PublishingImages/innerbelt%20map2.swf (hover over each CG number for more detail)
Of particular interest, it'll be interesting to see how the dead man's curve realignment plays out.
Someone updating OpenStreetMap with the recent traffic shift in Cleveland accidentally deleted a bridge section of Columbus's "East Innerbelt" carrying I-71 northbound. Oops. I fixed it, but haven't yet had a chance to send that guy a note about it.
Here are some videos about the project ODOT just posted. The first is about pieces of steel that were dropped into the Cuyahoga during the demolition of the old bridge, the other two show the way the piers are constructed for the 2nd half of the new set of bridges

I was in Cleveland last week and saw that work is really coming along on the 2nd bridge
According to this project newsletter from the summer, the plan is to open 2 of the 5 lanes on the new bridge in September, and then have all 5 open by the end of October.
