It seems they've been nearly exterminated in the Atlanta area; the only one I could find in my collection is at the north end of I-575:

After midnight in the east, so I think I get to post a challenge.

QuoteMarch 25, 2017: Post pictures signage for a continental divide or similar.

I figure that the Atlantic-Pacific divide is very well signed and will be easily covered.  So I'll go with some lesser known ones.

The eastern continental divide on I-40 in North Carolina.  May 22, 2005.

Hudson/St. Lawrence divide on NY 30 and NY 28 in Blue Mountain Lake.  April 25, 2009.

North-South continental divide on US 20 and US 31 near South Bend, Indiana.  June 27, 2012.

I guess I was wrong that Atlantic/Pacific continental divide was an easy one.  So I'll try to keep my first attempt at posting a challenge from being a total failure by putting up a few more of my own.

Holy christ I was going to make this the challenge for today.  I actually had the exact same idea...but I didn't post it because I couldn't find any photos of my own to fit this criterion.  The most I found was 8 of the 10 digits.

The "8" is in the phone number on the back of the van in the left lane.  I got lucky on this one; I have several photos of Kansas City gantries where the route shields contain all the digits except "8."

Burgess Junction, Wyoming.  July 25, 1999.  This is the best quality I have, but not bad considering it came from my first digital camera, the Sony Mavica FD-7, that only took pictures at 640x480.

15 minutes of poking around for another and I came up with probably 8 or 10 examples where I had 9 out of 10, and too many to count with 8 out of 10.  But other than Burgess Junction, I didn't track down any others that satisfy the challenge.

Kansas City would probably yield examples if they had sequential exit numbers so there would be an Exit 8 in the middle of the area where all those roads meet.  Maybe something other than I-70 through there has an exit number with an 8 in it.

There's 9 different numerals on the shields, and the missing "8" can be found on the hurricane evacuation sign:

Now "1" has to post an actual road photo.

March 28th challenge:  Post a pair of routes that differ by a factor of 15.  In other words, post two routes "a" and "b" where a×15=b.

(This should be easier if a is a small number like 1 or 2)

March 7, 2017: Route sign photos of the highest-numbered state highway in a particular state.
March 8, 2017: A photo that contains a road sign found in the previous photo. If a photo satisfies both this challenge and the ongoing March 7 challenge, it counts for both.

March 17, 2017: Happy St. Patrick's Day! Photos of official signs containing any green-colored text.
March 18, 2017: Photos of surface streets that have four or more lanes in a single direction (OR both directions).
March 19, 2017: Three or more different route shields shown, but no US or Interstate shields in the photo. The background is considered to be part of the photo.

Although I posted a picture of a Coralville street blade with an IA-965 (a supposedly unsigned route) shield on it, IA-471 is the highest-numbered route signed by the DOT. I got pictures of it yesterday; here's one:

With all of the awful road signs out there, I'm surprised that there was only one reply to this challenge.  I was waiting to see if anyone would reply, but I didn't see anything all day.  When I opened the thread the following day, I saw the one reply that was posted, so I couldn't reply.

Anyway, there's a few stretched signs on Centro's Auburn-Syracuse bus route that I sometimes ride.  To start, here's a pair of right-side and left-side stop signs with stretched "ALL WAY" plaques.  Closer to Syracuse, there's this sign for Shove Park.  There's also a stretched "State Law" sign nearby, but it wasn't there when the Street View car went by.
