And once you get off I-95, You can still see all 3 control cities on this sign.
Yes, but US 301 stlll goes through Kenly, Wilson and Rocky Mount even without the I-95 Business Loop.

And I finally got a picture of it.

That's nice and old school looking.

I see that the old cloverleaf between former BL I-95 and former US 64 mainline is been replaced.  Nothing surprising, as cloverleaf interchanges are now a safety hazard.  Plus the US 64 Business overpass was old and was due for a replacement anyway.

Just how in our lifetime we see things change constantly. I am though disappointed that the US 301 control city at NC 4 had to get replaced before I finally got to photograph it.

It used to have Richmond for US 301 with all the cities along US 301 from Rocky Mount to the VA State Line in small upper case letters beneath Richmond.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

I'm kind of hoping when I-95 business will get deleted in Fayetteville now that the bypass has some businesses (Most at NC-53 Exit 49). Murphy Rd and NC 59 has some gas stations at least so that's something at least.

Doesn't really make sense to have I-95 business still standing when the bypass has businesses now.
