It's an ugly day here, overcast, 1C/33F and steady rain (should add up to 15mm/0.6" today). The high is expected to reach 8C/47F at 8pm which is interesting. Sunday is expected to be sunny and a high of 7C/45F which looks nice for a walk, though also feels wrong in mid-February...

Low 70s, chance of thunderstorms. Pretty humid at the moment.

Heading to the mainland tomorrow, should be in the 50s and sunny. Nice change of pace.

After a very strong cold front that brought us to nearly freezing overnight Friday, temperatures have quickly recovered back to almost normal for mid-February:

BROWNSVILLE: 73 high (-3); 54 low (-3)
CORPUS CHRISTI: 71 high (-2); 50 low (-5)
LAREDO: 74 high (-1); 51 low (-1)
McALLEN: 76 high (-1); 52 low (-4)

The warming trend will continue though the midweek.
