The 1-2-3 Road Sign CHALLENGE!!

I want to take a shot at starting a collaborative game with you folks.  The challenge is to post a highway route sign photo (actual image, no GSV) starting at number 1 and getting as high as we can go.  So I will post a route 1; the next person will post a picture of route 2, and another person will post route 3, and so on.

THE RULES (EDITED):
1. Each person will post one photo at a time.
2. No repeat posting within 10 numbers. (The rule was once 5 numbers, but I'm restoring it to 10 in 2022.)  That is, you cannot post again until 10 beyond your previous post.  For example, if you posted route 214, you cannot post again until route 224.
3. The above rule is no longer in effect if no posts are made in 24 hours.  That is, after 24 hours of being stuck, anyone is free to post.
(edit:  3A--you can also post 24 hours after your last post if the thread is dead for 24 hours)
4. No Google Streetview images unless we're so stumped on a number that no one posts for 48 hours.
5. Interstitial discussion posts are allowed- feel free to talk about stuff as the game continues.
6. You may post from published websites, other Flickr accounts, or other outside sources, as long as you properly credit the source for your photo if necessary.
7. The number on the sign that is photographed must be shown on a route symbol.  Signs with third-person textual mentions of routes are not allowed.
8. (New for 2022) In the second iteration of this game, no route posted shall be the same as any route posted in the first iteration of this game.  For example, since the play for number 1 was Arkansas Route 1 in the first iteration, Arkansas Route 1 cannot be posted again for the second iteration.

Let's see how many people we can get to play, and let's see how many different places we can represent!

Here's the first image... Someone post a "Route 2!"

This same game was done years ago, as were a number of other related games.

Plus you take away GSV and it won't go anywhere as hardly anyone posts their photos online anymore.

I'll bite, even though Alex is probably right.

My image is some Canadian button copy from Calgary Alberta. Its days are numbered though.

I just realized how many low-number routes I have pictures of. Surprised me.

It doesn't have to be an original idea for it to be fun.  This can be the 2016 version, to see if games like this can still be viable.
Thanks for the submissions so far, guys.  I really just wanted to see some nice pictures and you guys delivered hehe

Nobody posts them online anymore? Heck, they're probably doing it more now, no?

Might as well...

Yeah it's supposed to be one photo at a time.  But it's okay, we'll carry on  :D

Besides, I don't get to post things from Oregon often

Unless you are referring to Facebook, then I don't see it. Plus GSV has replaced the need for many to go out and shoot their own photos.

Also scroll up and read the original post, Paul called for one photo entry for the next number.

So in theory, if I found a picture of route 19 crossing route 20, it would only count as 19 ? :sombrero:

I like the way you think!!  I mean, you can get some hypothetical bonus points, but yeah let's just keep it as one photo.  That would only count as a 19.

Again, no worries about the multi-photo posts above, but let's keep it one photo per person (you can jump in again after 10 photos- so if you post #24, wait until #34 to post again). Loving it so far!

Both the 'l' are backwards on this sign. These are Saskatchewan shields.

It seems there's still plenty of photos out on the web, but there's been quite a trend in the past few years to just Street View it instead.

Fortunately, GSV-quality ranges from poor to decent to "witness-protection-program".
