Shedingtonian

Hello! I name is Miguel, but I prefer being called Shedingtonian or just Shed.

I first learnt about AARoads a couple of years ago and really enjoyed browsing through the web's shield gallery. Now I have decided to join the site in order to gain and share my road knowledge! I have always loved to draw roads and also larger scale, fictional maps, mostly inspired in the USA. I was gifted my first driver's ED book at age 3! I also like to make road signs corresponding to my maps.

I hope to fit in with the other members of the site, even if I can't be online too much. Although, I would like to ask why my profile picture is not uploading properly. Does it also need to be verified by a moderator? I have been trying for an hour to no avail!

Anyhow, thank you for reading through this. I hope we meet again soon!

And yes, I'm still studying civil engineering.

Welcome! The avatar has to meet certain size restrictions. That may be the issue.

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Could you tell me what these restrictions are? The image I'm trying to use is 100 pixels squared.

The avatar is nice.  Is it a representation of a real highway shield?  Which state or country?  [It is like Colorado's, but different.]

It is the highway shield of my own, fictional state called Shedington. I indeed make it similar to CO's on purpose.
Staying on topic, where would I be able to post information about it? I see the fictional highways thread the most fitting, but I want to make sure.

Welcome from Southwest Missouri!

Of the top of my head, I can think of one other person from Spain on the forum.

Ni eres tampoco el único hispanoparlante.   :)
