Right now going through my head is a song from Kansas that I don't know the title of.  I'll have to look it up.

I've finally chased Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" out of my head after two or three days.
I have a list of their more popular songs you can choose from...

"Dust in the Wind"
"Carry On Wayward Son"
"Point Of Know Return"
"People Of The South Wind"
"Hold On"
"Play The Game Tonight"
"Fight Fire With Fire"
"Portrait (He Knew)"

It wasn't a popular song in that sense - it's one of the live songs on the greatest hits CD that wasn't on the cassette.  Maybe I'll look it up.

It's "Pinnacle".  I'm actually listening to it right now.

I was making smoked trout dip for tomorrow and played Twisted Sister's Christmas album. Kind of hard to follow that one up. I wound up playing The Bells of Dublin by the Chieftains. I like the Celtic instruments as a way of getting something different. Our cat didn't seem too pleased, though. She seemed rather agitated when the tin whistle and pipes played.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."

commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

Yesterday and today, I drove to and from my sister's house in south central Pennsylvania for the usual family gift exchange on Christmas Eve. (The East Coast branch of my family opens presents on Christmas Eve; the smaller West Coast branch does that on Christmas morning.) In my car, when I wasn't trying to follow traffic and weather reports or NFL football games, I listened to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas album, "Christmas Eve and Other Stories".

Speaking of...

Right now I am listening to "A Last Illusion" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (and the entire "Beethoven's Last Night" album at the moment, which it is part of):

TSO is an incredible band, and always a must-listen during the holidays!

I should also definitely see them live at some point. Everything I've heard is that they put on a damn good show.
