This should be US 59, taken just north of Mena, Arkansas. (taken on July 13th, 2021)

AR 59 also does exist but that route's southern terminus is much further north of where this was taken.
I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

A rare mixup in Washington: SR 14 in Camas, WA

Two I found on my drive through Oregon:

Speaking of 101, here's a goof from INDOT on I-74 at exit 101 on one of their classic patch panel signs: IN-421 instead of US-421. Judging by GMSV, this one's been here a while.

Lightly-traveled Nevada 264 in Esmeralda County, shown here with its usual traffic flow, gets the US route upgrade.

Edit, just to add a couple details, because roadfro mentioned "recency" below:

Location:  First southbound shield, yards south of the US 6 junction

Why, I do believe that's the old pre-computer Nevada custom font on the South tab there. How did that happen?

It's not often you see a US/State mix-up in Nevada, and this one appears fairly recent. Thanks for sharing!

That font gets used more often than you'd think. The previous shield assembly at this location looks like it also used the same font on its south banner (photo from Wikimedia Commons user Famartin taken in April 2015):

Another example are these "west" banners on the freeway entrance assemblies at the I-80/Virginia interchange in Reno, which aren't all that old. I've also noticed several stop signs on typically rural state highways that also have that distinctive 'S'.

I can only tell the font by the shape of the 'S'. Most of the uses I've come across have been in NDOT District 2 (west/northwest Nevada). However, the location of the 264 shields depicted here is in the western reaches of District 1 (southern Nevada).

Oh, I'm so sorry, US 1. Pennsylvania seems to have a habit of Pennsy-fying innocent US routes.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Another one in WA, this time at SR 14 and US 197:

Three signs around this junction use the SR shield, while one uses the proper shield. It seems to be related to lane closures on the US 197 bridge, which has also necessitated a bunch of detour signs with US shields.

US 121 finally appears...in Roosevelt, Utah:

Utah has US 261 (Moki Dugway) and US 316 signs posted. I'll have pics when I dump all my photos off my camera when I get home.

Can confirm, I remember seeing both of these when I drove the Moki Dugway in April 2017.

Found in Union Gap, WA:

I-82 is technically a state route as defined by the legislature, so this is technically correct on some level. This sign seems to be quite recent, as GSV shows a normal sign in 2019.

Of course, there's also a Utah 163 sign posted at the south end of 261. Clearly whatever contractor did that batch of signage between Bluff and Mexican Hat had no clue what they were doing.

US Route 371 is a thing, but it sure isn't in Missouri...

US 371 is just looking for a balance between its former home in Minnesota and present home in ArkLa(butNot)Tex.

Lovely contractor error here on Milwaukee Ave. US 45 is now IL 45 in both directions here.

Ahh, I couldn't remember this route #, thanks for reminder, lol.  :-D

This is first time seeing mix up of US and IL route signs, ever. [Not counting temp construction signage]
