For Washington.....

Interstates: clinched them all.  Both I-182 and I-205 I've only been on once, and only in one direction.
U.S. Routes: Clinched 12.  I've been on all of the rest except 197 and 730.  I also have not been on 97 Alternate.
Clinched State Routes: 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 16, 18, 19, 104, 108, 115, 123, 141, 160, 161, 163, 164, 167, 202, 215, 303, 304, 305, 433, 509, 512, 513, 518, 519, 520, 522, 523, 526, 530, 534, 538, 546, 547, 599, 706, 906.
I've been on all of 20 except for the part that bypasses 215.  I'll probably get back out there again this summer or next.  I may have 99 clinched, but I have a feeling I'm missing portions in Snohomish County.
Unclinched: 9, 10, 14, 20, 22, 41, 96, 99, 109, 169, 181, 203, 290, 410, 411, 432, 503, 507, 510, 525, 527, 528, 529, 531, 532, 536, 539, 542, 544, 548

Since you didn't ask :D , it was one of many different routes I took commuting from Bellingham to Lynden while trying to avoid Meridian (539) like the plague.  So I've only been on the westernmost mile or two, cutting over from Hannegan Road to 539.

That makes sense- I understand the desire to avoid Meridian. One of my bigger mistakes was driving my friends up to the Vancouver and saying "Guys, let's skip I-5 and just take Meridian  up to the Trans-Canada- the customs line will be shorter." Yeah, the customs line was shorter, but the traffic heading up Meridian was horrible and certainly negated the time savings. I still prefer that route though- you don't have to hassle with trying to follow 99 where it stops being a freeway (which can be a pain) and I'd rather the total time be a bit longer without having to sit stopped for 20 minutes at I-5 or SR 543

Have you driven Boundary Rd in that area yet? All alignments are good- but especially the part where you take Meridian up to the border and then hang a right just before customs. I feel like that's a must see for any roadgeek- Boundary Rd in the USA and 0 Ave in Canada are right next to each other with only like a ten foot wide grassy trench dividing them- it's a fun haul to do once

I'll also let cmap do the work for me -- and be the first to sort my stats in descending order of clinched percentage! ;P
http://cmap.m-plex.com/stat/region.php?u=yakra&c=usa&rg=me&du=mi&sort=pd#t

According to my Maine State Highways system stats, I have:
Highways traveled: 124 / 193 (64.2%)
Highways fully clinched: 62 / 193 (32.1%)
But that can be a bit misleading: ME113 is counted for 5 segments: 3 in ME + 2 in NH. There's also a NH segment of ME110 counted.
Interstates and US routes aren't counted, being part of different highway systems. I'm too lazy to calculate these stats/percentages taking that into account :)

Bummer that the region pages don't have similar stats to these.
"Officer, I'm always careful to drive the speed limit no matter where I am and that's what I was doin'." Said "No, you weren't," she said, "Yes, I was." He said, "Madam, I just clocked you at 22 MPH," and she said "That's the speed limit," he said "No ma'am, that's the route numbah!"  - Gary Crocker

I did it in the 1990s before there was a lot of security...I turned in like I made a wrong turn and it was safer to have me drive around and back out then to back out onto 9th St.  I actually got more nervous driving the prison routes...wander in, take some photos then turn around an wander off...nothing suspicious about that!

I know I've forgotten some of the Colorado routes on the northeastern plains, because I haven't been out that way since I was a kid going to my sister's basketball games. That said, other than possibly CO 59 and CO 71 most of the driving (at least to towns whose names I remember) would have been U.S. Highways I've already listed.

I've been on so many in California, I couldn't possibly think of all of them. Been on nearly every SoCal numbered highway, as well as nearly all the ones in the Bay Area and the Eastern Sierras.

Same here as I grew up in La Canada Flintridge.

I think I've been on just about every numbered route in Arizona except for those in the Four Corners region.

And living on the Hawaiian island of Kauai from 1979 to 1986, I clinched all of that island's numbered roads more than once.
Remember: If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I'd rather be a child of the road than a son of a ditch.

At what age do you tell a highway that it's been adopted?
