Welcome to Louisville Metro | ||

Description: In 2003 the city of Louisville merged with its county, Jefferson County, to become "Louisville Metro." The signs that had proclaimed the border of Jefferson County were replaced with these Louisville Metro signs (though if you look hard enough you can still find a few forgotten Jefferson County signs). It bugs me that Louisville, the largest and most well-known metro area in Kentucky, has no "Welcome to Louisville" signs other than these pathetic LGS's. Most towns, even very small ones, have a nicely landscaped sign welcoming travelers, but not Louisville. ![]() Picture Stats: Views: 871 Filesize: 222.63kB Height: 597 Width: 500 Keywords: Louisville metro Posted by: TR69 at October 11, 2016, 04:20:31 PM Image Linking Codes
