Hello everybody! I'm Vortex.

I'm from the Hudson Valley of New York and have lived here all of my life. It's a very beautiful, picturesque region filled with charm and history. Figured I'd join as I love driving and exploring other states, and I've always been fascinated by the Interstate Highway System. I've traveled around America pretty extensively and have been on numerous roads and highways. Some of my favorite stretches of road to just cruise along are US-209 between Ellenville and Jim Thorpe, NY-218 before it got washed down the side of the mountain and the NE Extension Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476), especially around the Jim Thorpe area and the Lehigh Tunnel.

Look forward to getting to know you guys and discussing everything road-related!
I had more fun cruising on the Pennsylvania Turnpike than I did at Disney World.

I would have to imagine that NY-52 east of Ellenville and the Hawk's Nest on NY-97 would have to be among your favorites as well.

Absolutely. Especially NY-52, I love the view of the Catskills up there, and I also like peering down into what is left of the Nevele Grand resort from up there.
