Going through Flickr I noticed this great shot taken on the top of a mountain on a very cold Norwegian Day as even the photographer admitted he literally froze his ass off just to get the perfect shot.  Of course his perserverence did pay off as he got an excellent shot of the entire city and bridge which is called the Tromso Bridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troms%C3%B8_Bridge which is a very greatly designed bridge that carries the traffic 125 feet above the water with no drive through truss and no cables.

According to Wiki the span over the channel is 80 feet across and altogether the structure has 58 spans and is over 3000 feet long.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.
