Happy Valentine's Eve, everyone!

So, since my partner and I are driving down to Baltimore for the weekend and will be super busy, we exchanged gifts this evening. I was SO thrilled to get this addition to my Route 66 collection (I don't have a trip planned yet because money and time are tight, but it's all culminating for THAT trip).

He also got me a Route 66 guidebook for Christmas - one of the McClanahan guides I don't already have.

So, what's the best way that YOUR significant others/better halves/spouses/ beloveds romantically got involved in your roadgeekiness, fellow roadgeeks?

My wife usually buys me a road sign ornament every year.  When she goes on trips with friends I usually get a bunch of maps.

I don't have anything to contribute, except to say:  Great thread title!  It's poetic.
Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.

Hahaha thank you. I'm sad there aren't more contributions - not a ton of love from partners?

Eh, usually just getting to choose the route and any back road detours is enough for me.

Not a big collector of anything.

Regarding road related gifts something that I forgot to mention upthread is that I've tried to convince my wife to buy me something from a list of Jake Bear signs.  Thus far she has mostly stuck to map and ornament territory, the usual reasoning for not getting me a sign replica is that she can't keep up with what I have in my sign collection.

Eddy Grant should record a new version of "Romancing The Stone" called "Romancing The Roadgeek."
