Utah DOT celebrates the 100th anniversary of the traffic signal, which was created by Lester Wire, a Salt Lake City Police officer.

Wow, I didn't know it's been around that long. Happy Centennial to the traffic signal!

Adapted from traffic control signalling that was, and still is, used by railroads.
