Why can't I upload a small picture....or anything?

Is your avatar less than 80 x 80 pixels? Also, I forget the exact limit, but there is a filesize limit as well that you may be going over depending on the image format that your picture is saved in.

Even when I shrink things smaller than 80 x 80 it won't take it

It finally worked.  I have windows 8 at home which makes things almost impossible to use.
