Finally I get to update mine: yesterday I drove segments of GA 47 and GA 57 (for now, at least, though I expect this segment of the latter will soon go away in favor of 540), so my new lowest route number not traveled is 63.

In case I decide to not partake in the Cincy roadmeet*, in two weeks. I did get to 122 over the weekend, and now my lowest numbered route to drive on is 125.

*The Cincy roadmeet covers Oh 125, which helps me in this game.

I did attend the Cincy Roadmeet, drove on Oh 125, and now have to locate an 143 next.
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

It looks like it is 47 for me.  I have crossed the south end of VA 47 in South Hill, and have been near the north end of VA 47 (signed from US 460 at the west end of the Pamplin City Bypass).
I am now a PennDOT employee.  My opinions/views do not necessarily reflect the opinions/views of PennDOT.

You have one so close - right across the Walt Whitman from Philadelphia.  You can use it to go to the beach this summer.

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

Don't @ me. Seriously.

Rothman

Updated.  Already had Takumi at 9 and I moved up to 288 (as I predicted.  Might be stuck here for a bit).

Are we including county routes in this tally? Because I HAVE driven a county route 288 (Gunnville Road in Erie County, NY). Such would bring me up to 323, which from what I can tell, does not exist in any way, shape, or form in the Northeast US.

I don't keep track of county routes, but you can count them if you want. Some of this is because some county routes function as minor state routes, such as New Jersey's 500 series and Florida's in-grid county routes that have been downgraded from state routes.

There is a VA 323, which is for the Piedmont Geriatic Hospital, in Burkeville, VA.

They're still silly.

My levity aside, you counting that county route, cl94?

Is it unsigned?

In the world of route numbers that DO count, I drove on a 1/2 mile of OH 143 on Saturday. I'm on to locate an 145 now.
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

I don't think I've been on a hwy 21.  Although technically I-680 used to be CA-21.

WA 104 was once PSH 21 and WA 303 was SSH 21B if you're ever been out to Kitsap.

Everybody gets to make their own ground rules, of course ... but did you ever drive I-680 while it was signed as CA 21?  If so, IMHO I would consider the number 21 obtained.

I have a similar case ... A portion of I-195 in Maryland used to be designated as MD 46.  But since I have driven on it while it was designated as MD 46, in my view it counts (I don't think I have any other 46).  Nobody can take away from me the fact that I have driven on a "Route 46".

Note that I count the number(s) on the road when I drove on it - so historical designations before my time - or future designations for that matter - would not count.

For that reason, I have to be a bit careful when using my "Travel Mapping" log file, since it uses the current designation.

I'd count it; I counted FL 325 which was later demoted, and I-345, which isn't even signed.

Edit: found that I'd been a segment of Texas Spur 345 in San Antonio.

Also, my new highest is 369, after scooping up TN 357 last month.
