Not registered after 5 days

I requested an account 5 days ago for username GreenLanternCorps and have not received confirmation yet.

The gmail account I used is something of a throwaway account created for registering my son's video games.  Can this e-mail address referencing my son's birth year be causing a delay or problem?

The normal person who double checks the accounts has been away from his computer.  I'm working on clearing the backlog right now.
