Gotta love Arizona's VMSs. This one was a few days ago on Southbound I-15 just after entering from Utah:
CRAZY IN LOVE
WITH DRIVERS WHO
USE TURN SIGNALS

This means ADOT is crazy in love with me :sombrero:, even though I haven't been ever nowhere near AZ.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

There's a new VMS on I-49 near the 412 bip-pass:

Drive Hammered
Get Nailed

It sounds like the state of Arkansas is encouraging drunk driving and casual sex.

"Drive hammered, get nailed?  Hey, that's a good idea!"
Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.

I saw this on the VMS going northbound on I-55 near US6, but I couldn't get a photo in time.  It's pretty great haha

Cringy one from IDOT a few weeks back.
God, this one still makes me cringe.

Some new ones in Texas:
Horns Up, Phones Down, Don't Text and Drive;
Don't Text 'em, Gig 'em

.... and a few other college teams that are escaping my memory at the moment...

Apparently, the Maine DOT is using messages like these along I-95/Maine Turnpike and/or I-295 right now.

Yesterday on the Kansas Turnpike, the VMSes were displaying...

THINK YOU CAN PASS
LIKE A CHIEFS QB
THINK AGAIN
SLOW DOWN

or...

SCORE
A
TOUCHDOWN

GET
A

Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.

Just got back from a quick trip to MSP.

VMSes read something along the lines of:

GET A DWI
YOUR BROOMSTICK WONT FLY

How do they do that, anyway?  Make you blow into a tube before the ignition will unlock?

Today the boards on I-12 are sporting this message: "THERE IS NO REINDEER NAMED SPEEDY." LaDOTD has taken to putting witticisms on its boards in recent years. Guess they can't be bothered with pedestrian stuff like travel times.

Florida's Turnpike this week has overhead VMSs saying "Don't Drive If You're Tipsy, Buzzed, or Blitzen."

The portable units said, and I like this, "CAMP IN STATE PARKS, NOT THE LEFT LANE."  Didn't make much impression on most people, naturally.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

This past weekend, some Ohio signs read, "LIKE PRESENTS?  WRAP YOURSELF IN A SEATBELT"

LaDOTD's resolution is buckling up. Is that really still that much of a problem? It's been illegal to drive unbuckled for over 30 years now.

Yep. A vocal minority of people go "I won't buckle, because it's what government wants."
