This morning, I was looking to read link responses that I posted to like I usually do, and I noticed that two link options, which were located between my login name and the list of different boards has disappeared:
View Responses To Your Post(s) and New Posts Since Last Visit. (Not sure of the exact link phrases).
It was really convenient to use these links to cut to the chase and to read the threads I have taken interest to and/or to quickly look for new things that interest me without having to go to each individual board.
Hopefully this is just a glitch and not a permanent change. What Gives?

Yep! And in fact I recall asking this exact question at some the point in the past, and you giving this exact answer.
