Need help with the FL highway system

I really think A1A should be changed to SR 3 because the CR 3 in Merritt Island is not even signed. My problem with A1A is there are too many broken segments of the road especially at the New Smyrna Beach-Cape Canaveral area.

I don't remember if there are any signs along CR-3 itself, but the Tropical Trail exit on the Pineda Causeway clearly marks it as CR-3.

As for SR-3, it is clearly marked as such in multiple locations:
